Programs and Products
Verbal Defense offers both programs and products to address the global problem of adult verbal abuse and bullying.

Our products come in the form of books, online media, and physical products. The current Manage Bullying products include the following:
- Verbal Judo for Civilians Program — a 2-hour video overview by Dr. George Thompson of his structured communication methodologies for preventing and de-escalating conflict. This video was filmed at a live presentation in 1987 and is a real classic.
- Verbal Judo Nuggets — a 1 hour and 15 minute CD that shares many of the core principles of Manage Bullying. This informative audio was recorded in 2010 as a discussion between Dr. Thompson and one his master trainers, Doug Haig.
- Peace Stories – For Home and Work – the late Dr. Thompson is best remembered for his entertaining and memorable peace stories that clearly communicate the main points of his teachings. These peace-story videos were recorded in 2010 and are 21 of the best.
- Online Family Community — a membership program that provides ongoing training and education to parents and their children via a members-only website and monthly teleseminars. Verbal Defense is a contributor to this community along with other members of the Vistelar Group.
- Verbal Judo – The Gentle Art of Persuasion — Dr. Thompson’s best-selling book, with over 250,000 copies sold, that provides a great written overview of his work. You can purchase this book and Dr. Thompson’s other books from the Vistelar Store.
